The Junior Prospects is an off-season development program intended for younger players already in rep programs (up to age 14). Since the players are already playing at a higher level, the practices and instruction will move at a faster pace, and it is expected that players come prepared and committed to developing their existing skills. The Junior Prospects program mirrors our elite Ontario Prospects program and demonstrates how our players train and the commitment it takes to play at the next level. The Junior Prospects are development players, who want to super-charge their baseball skills through extra practice time while continuing to also practice with the summer elite teams that they are already rostered with.

The Ontario Prospects is a nationally recognized premier baseball program. For 18 years, we have had the privilege to play high-level baseball in both Canada and the USA. Our focus is the development of youth baseball players (15U to 18U) in preparation for the college and professional levels.  We provide the opportunity to train and compete in an elite environment which builds confidence and a strong baseball foundation. 100% of eligible class of 2021 and class of 2022 athletes were placed at a post secondary institution, 72% at US schools. Our program Alumni includes 100's of college athletes (70%+ to US Schools), 6 Junior National Team picks and 6 MLB Draft picks.

The Junior Prospects will be assigned into groups of up to 12 players and will meet once a week for a 2-hour session with our professional and college-level coaching staff. The practices will focus on elite pitching, hitting, and fielding development.  Participants will also be assigned a custom workout plan by our strength and conditioning coach, with their progress monitored and graded. Additionally, Junior Prospects will have open-hour privileges, allowing them access to the playing field, batting cages, pitching mounds and weight room for self-directed development.

Program Schedule:

• October 15, 2022 – April 30, 2023

  • ​Breaks for December holidays, Family Day, March Break, and Easter

• Group 1: Saturdays, 11am-1pm (FULL)

• Group 2: Saturdays, 4pm-6pm (FULL)

• Group 3: Sundays, 11am-1pm (FULL)

• Group 4: Sundays, 3pm-5pm (FULL)

Cost:

$2,099 +HST. A full practice kit will be provided, including, hat, shirt, and shorts. If you want to play like a Prospect, you’ll need to look like a Prospect.
